Gluten Free Crackers
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Serves: Makes 60-100 crackers (pending size)
Ingredients:
- ½ cup Waltanna Foods Flaxseed Flour
- 1 ½ cup Waltanna Foods Gluten Free Plain Flour
- 1 cup Waltanna Foods Gluten Free Self Raising Flour
- 70g unsalted butter
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup (44g) Waltanna Foods Golden Rolled Flaxseed
Method:
- Add all the dry ingredients and mix together
- Rub the butter into the dry ingredients
- Add water and form into a dough.
- Let the dough stand for a few minutes
- Flour bench surface with corn starch
- Roll out dough thinly and cut into desired shape. (Tip: The back of an egg cup can be used to make a circle the size of a 50c piece)
- Bake in oven at 180°C Convection for 10-15 minutes (depending on size and thickness of cracker).
- Take one out and make sure it is crunchy. These crackers are best crunchy.
- Best served with a dip accompaniment
