Hummus

Serves: 10-20 serves
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ Cup cooked chickpeas/1 can of chickpeas (420g)
- ¼ Cup fresh lemon
- ¼ Cup Tahini
- 1 Small clove of garlic
- 1 Tbl Spn extra virgin olive
- 1 Tbl Spn Waltanna Foods Organic Flaxseed Oil
- ½ Tsp ground cumin
- ½ Tsp salt
- 2-3 Tbl Spn chickpea cooking water/water
- 1 Tsp Waltanna Foods Brown Whole Flaxseed
Method:
- Add lemon juice and tahini into the food processor and process for 1 minute.
- Add olive and flax oil, minced garlic, cumin and salt.
- Process until well blended (about 30 seconds)
- Scrape down the sides.
- Add half the chickpeas and process for 1 minute
- Scrape the sides
- Add 1 Tbl Spn water/cooking water and process for 30 seconds.
- Add the remaining chickpeas and keep blending until smooth
- Add 1-2 Tbl Spn water/cooking water and process until a smooth consistency is reached
- Serve with flaxseeds sprinkled on top
