Flax Jack Muesli Bar Slice
Preparation Time: 10-15 minutes
No cooking required.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups oats
- 125g butter
- 2/3 Cup brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp golden syrup
- 1 Tbsp vanilla esssence
- 2 Tbsp Waltanna Foods Golden Rolled Flaxseed
- 2/3 Cup shredded coconut
Method:
- Melt butter, honey and sugar in a saucepan on low heat
- Add vanilla essence, oats, Rolled Flaxseeds and coconut into a bowl.
- Stir through the melted mixture and golden syrup.
- Press into a baking tin (approx. 20cm x 20cm)
- Bake in the oven at 175 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
- Leave to cool for 30 minutes prior to slicing.
Note: Best kept in the fridge.
