Cooking instructions:
- Soak overnight: Add 1 cup of chickpeas to 3 cups of water. Bring to the boil and simmer until tender.
- Quick cooking: Bring to the boil, turn off heat and leave for 1 hour. Discard water and add 3 cups of fresh water. Bring to boil again and simmer until tender.
